It seems Niall Horan's ex-girlfriend Ellie Goulding has rekindled her relationship with former flame Dougie Poynter.
The 29-year-old "On My Mind" singer opened up about her on-again-off-again boyfriend Dougie Poynter in a recent interview with Red Magazine.
"When I met Dougie, he had no game," Goulding said, reported E Online. "He was just like, 'You're really cool, let's go out.' It was me that pursued him, a bit, very unexpectedly."
The blonde beauty confessed that she hated all men before Poynter came into her life.
"Before him, I was having a single period and hating all men. I really thought I was going to be single for a long while," she said. "But then I met him and was like, uh-oh, game over. He was just so nice... you don't throw something like that away so easily."
The two reportedly decided to break up for a short period due to their incompatible schedules. Dougie and Ellie's relationship started in December 2013 after meeting at a magazine awards show.
Niall Horan's ex-girlfriend Ellie Goulding also discussed her recent surprise bash.
"It was in this really posh restaurant where rich old men take much younger women, and they were going to chuck Dougie out for not wearing a blazer - he had to borrow one that someone had left behind from Marks & Spencer," she said, reported OK Magazine.
"Then Dougie said, 'Er, well there's a really good bar downstairs', and I was going, 'you don't drink, why would you want to go to a bar?' Downstairs, everyone was there, even my mum. But rather than being 'Oh my god yes!' and lapping up the attention, I hid in the toilets, having some kind of panic attack, for an hour."
Rumor mills have it that the couple will get engaged sometime this year.
"Ellie says she's now mentally and emotionally ready to take the next big step with Dougie and they'll definitely be getting engaged this year," an Irish Mirror report read.
In December last year, Ellie Goulding revealed that she is working on a few songs with Niall Horan.
