Mickey Gall could be the lucky fighter to challenge UFC's CM Punk in the octagon. According to mmafighting.com, UFC President Dana White made the announcement of Gall's next fight versus Michael Jackson.
"I'm bringing Mickey Gall in, and he's going to fight a kid named Michael Jackson," White said. "They're going to fight on the prelims, on February 6th on Fight Pass, and if he wins that fight, Mickey Gall will fight CM Punk. And CM Punk will be there at the fight to watch."
Gall is currently undefeated with 1 win but taunted Punk after his victorious MMA debut where he made Ron Templeton submit in the first round. White has said that she has considered Gall's challenge and his proposal to see Punk in the octagon.
A Brazilian jiu-jitsu fighter trained by the Miller Brothers MMA, Gracie New Jersey Jiu-Jitsu Academy, and American Top Team Allentown, Gall said he would like to ruin Punk's first fight in the world of UFC.
"Honestly, man, I think that guy's used to going into a ring and whispering to his guy, 'Hey, let's do a clothesline," Gall spoke about Punk. "'Hey, let's practice jumping off the ropes and this and that," Gall said.
"I think when he gets in there and he has me coming at him looking to kill him, I don't think he'll be able to handle it," Gall confidently stated. "He's a professional wrestler, and he's great at that. He's made himself a millionaire doing that. But now he's stepping into a different world, and I think he'd be in a lot of trouble."
As per bloodyelbow.com, Gall even told White after his match that he is very interested the former WWE star.
"Hey Dana White, I don't know if CM Punk has an opponent, but I would love to fight that man!" Gall admitted that it was an honor to have the UFC president watch his first fight.
