Toyota Innova's latest next-gen car, the Toyota Innova Crysta is all set to be showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo, New Delhi which will be held on Feb. 5-9, 2016 in Pragati Maidan.
By the end of 2016, this car will be up for sale in India. NDTV reported about the unveiling of this SUV.
This MPV is 180mm longer, 60mm wider and 45mm taller than its predecessor and is expected to overcome the shortcomings of the previous editions. It is lighter in weight and is expected to capture more market share than other cars in the same segment like Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Honda Mobilio, Renault Lodgy and Nissan Evalia.
The new GD engine is 10% more fuel-efficient compared to the present version available in the market. The present version which has a 2.5-litre D4D 'KD' diesel motor is a good SUV; however, the next-gen model will overtake the existing one in every aspect.
Toyota Innova Crysta is expected to be priced between Rs. 10 lakh (for the base variant) and Rs. 16 lakh (for the top-spec model). ''The new Toyota Innova 2016 is claimed to be lighter, safer and more robust than the outgoing model'' this is as per the latest report on India Car News.
It is officially announced that the new Innova Crysta will be sold alongside the current model and Toyota does not want to take existing models off the assembly line yet. ''The highlight of the new model's design is its rear-quarter glass, which surely looks interesting'' reported Carblogindia.
So now the wait begins for the launch of this car and the SUV lovers are waiting to test drive it. Many are planning to exchange their existing cars and SUVs and upgrade to Toyota Innova Crysta.
