According to Us Weekly, the couple have equally busy careers with Clooney busy filming and Amal working on her human rights cases. The pair has a very tight schedule to keep but they both make it a point to make special time for each other, no matter how busy they become.
Clooney revealed that the secret to keeping a happy marriage was to spend "quality time" together despite having busy careers. George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin lead very busy lives and sometimes, there will be days when they will be apart from each other. Clooney revealed that in times like this, FaceTime was their best friend.
"FaceTime, we'll do that, mostly it's just try not to go very long," he told Mario Lopez during an interview. "We spend an awful lot of time together, we try not to have these huge gaps."
George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin were recently seen at the "Hail, Caesar!" premiere. People Magazine reported that the pair were looking very much in love with each other.
Clooney told the celebrity magazine that he was grateful for Amal's loyalty and understanding of his acting career. He also admits that both admire each other for their respective careers and achievements.
"I think she appreciates the work because one thing I think people never quite understand is when you're doing it, it is actually a lot of work and takes a long time to do," he said. "And because she's seen me working behind the camera a lot, she's seen that it's an ongoing process. So I think she understands that."
