It appears that the release date of "The Legend of Zelda" in Wii U consoles, without a doubt, is looming, as several talks and reports are now gradually coming out on what's in store for fans.

Apparently, a vast majority of the solid fans were asking and hoping that the makers of the game will revamp the protagonist in "The Legend of Zelda" series known as Link, wherein fans will finally hear him speak when the game releases on Wii U consoles.

Undeniably, Link indeed has a vital part in the game; however, game producer, Eiji Aonuma, doesn't find talking Link is necessary for spite of numerous requests to hear Link's voice.

"We've had a lot of requests from fans to hear [Link's] voice, and while in some ways I do feel that it could be good to have a game where he speaks," producer Eiji Aonuma told Games Master Magazine. "Part of me also feels that that air of proud independence he has because he doesn't speak is a precious part of the individuality of his character."

That said, it seems that Link's character will remain voiceless as the game producer further cleared up the "silence is part of Link's individuality of character."

Not to mention the fact that the game is now already at the late phase of development, where it is impossible to employ a voice actor for Link.

"I want to think long and hard about whether changing that would be for the better or not before I make any decision," he added.

Nonetheless, a report by MNR Daily noted that "The Legend of Zelda" might finally come out in Wii U shelves starting next month amid the upcoming Nintendo Direct, as the Wii U is currently gearing up to prepare a notable list of exclusives.

Albeit nothing has been official so far, vast majority of the fans then were eager to finally have "The Legend of Zelda" in their Wii U consoles.
