The latest news on the "Zero" singer suggests that Chris Brown and Rihanna may be back together.

Christian Post reported that the exes might be getting back together. Chris Brown and Rihanna's tumultuous relationship began in 2008.

In 2009, the "Man Down" singer purportedly canceled her performance for the 51st Annual Grammy Awards because of her injuries from Brown. The "Zero" hitmaker was charged with assault.

Rihanna reportedly got back with Chris Brown in 2013 but broke up once more afterwards.

Last October, the "Stay" pop star revealed to Vanity Fair the reason why she got back with Chris Brown for the second time. That time, she also asked the court to lift the restraining order against the singer.

"I was that girl," she said, "that girl who felt that as much pain as this relationship is, maybe some people are built stronger than others."

"Maybe I'm one of those people built to handle s--- like this. Maybe I'm the person who's almost the guardian angel to this person, to be there when they're not strong enough, when they're not understanding the world [sic], when they just need someone to encourage them in a positive way and say the right thing."

The singer also admitted that she thought she could change him. "I was very protective of him," Rihanna continued. "I felt that people didn't understand him. Even after ... But you know, you realize after a while that in that situation you're the enemy."

She also talked about the difficulty in forming friendships while living under the spotlight since it will definitely lead to rumors about her personal life. "This industry creates stories and environments that can make you uncomfortable even being friends with someone," she said.

"I always see the best in people. I hope for the best, and I always look for that little bit of good, that potential, and I wait for it to blossom."
