Professional Footballer Raymond McNeil Joins Team Florida Coaching Staff

Professional football player Raymond McNeil has joined the Team Florida coaching staff.

In a press release by Diamond MPR, McNeil can now add being a coach to his long list of career achievements and ventures. The professional footballer has joined the Team Florida coaching staff to assist them with their off season football program.

Raymond McNeil is now on his 9th professional season. He went to Fort Valley State University and was an All SIAC Selection there. He has played for several teams in the Arena Football League (AFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL).

McNeil continues to provide record breaking offensive stats. Currently, he is growing his brand with athletic training and philanthropy, among others.

The professional football player is said to be excited about sharing his passion and knowledge with Team Florida's offensive lineman members. He is joining a very talented staff which includes retired NFL player Cornell Green and others.

"I am very excited to continue to work in the sport that I love, and to do that here with Team Florida," McNeil said in the statement.

He has also partnered with sports clothing brand "Go2War Sports."

According to Arena Football, he has appeared in 15 games in 2013 and started for 12 for the San Jose Sabercats.

McNeil recently posted a photo of The Wolfson Children's Challenge. The Sharks Team, the Attack Dance Team and Chum, among others, went to the event last Saturday, Jan. 30.

"It's almost that time," he captioned a photo of himself in his uniform.

McNeil, number 62, is currently with the Jacksonville Sharks as one of the offensive linemen along with Jason Holman, Cornelius Lewis and Moqut Ruffins. Tommy Grady, R.J. Archer and Sean Brackett are the team's quarterback.

Derrick Ross is the Sharks' fullbacks. The defensive linemen are Anthony Degrate, Donnie Owen, Joe Sykes, Jerry Turner, Mark Weivoda. Linebackers are Alvin Ray Jackson and Jimmy Gordon.
