Disney Pixar already confirmed that a sequel to the hit 2004 animated film "The Incredibles" is in the works and in an interview the "Avengers" actor Samuel L. Jackson has announced that his character, Frozone, is expected to return for "The Incredibles 2."

"Every time I run into Brad [Bird, director] he always tells me Frozone is part of what's going on, so I have to believe that," Samuel L. Jackson told Digital Spy.

"I guess they could be 'The Incredibles' without Frozone, but I think Frozone would be a wonderful addition to what's already there," the actor added. "I'm just looking forward to seeing what Jack-Jack turned into."

Lucius Best aka Frozone is the best friend and a close ally of Bob Parr aka Mr. Incredible. A long-time friend of Mr. Incredible, Frozone served as the best man at the wedding of Bob Parr and Helen Truax. And although not confirmed in the film, Lucius Best is also believed to be the godfather of Mr. Incredible's children.

Using his hands, Frozone has the ability to freeze water and moisture in the air. He has the ability to manipulate moisture in the air and freeze them but his powers are negated when he is dehydrated.

Aside from Frozone, the whole family of superheroes will be returning although in "Incredibles 2," the focus will be on the youngest member of the family, Jack-Jack, who was then a baby in the original film.

According to Breathecast, Jack-Jack will be six years old in "Incredibles 2" and is set to become the most powerful in the family. Jack-Jack, however, will be challenged in learning his powers and will have a hard time controlling it, which will become the source of the conflict for the sequel.

Also returning is Syndrome as the recurring villain in "Incredibles 2." Movie News Guide, in its report, said that Syndrome will be mentoring Jack-Jack but will teach the kid to be evil, instead of being good. Thus, his mission is to take Jack-Jack to the dark side.
