The Philadelphia 76ers are stacked at center position with potential all-stars Joel Embiid, Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel.

That's the reason why their names have been included in various NBA trade rumors, in a weird merry-go-round, because there's no way it could work without somebody sacrificing minutes.

But Jerry Colangelo, the Sixers' chairman of basketball operations, revealed that they are not actively looking to ship out anybody.

However, it doesn't mean they are not willing to listen.

"Things happen usually right around All-Star break," he told NBA.com. "There's a week or 10 days when there's a lot of discussion. It may lead to nothing, and I think right now we're kind of content to say there are too many question marks about certain players, health, and so forth that you have to be very careful."

The Sixers have a lot of young but talented players, led by the no. 3 pick of the 2015-2016, Jahlil Okafor, Nerlens Noel, Ish Smith and Robert Covington. They also hired Mike D'Antoni as an assistant coach so they are maximizing all those young legs to run down the other teams.

But they also have a lot of flexibility with Carl Landry being the highest paid in the team at $6.5 million per year.

"There's a lot of things that we want to continue to discuss regarding the future," he said. "We're looking at the trade deadline, the draft, it's an ongoing process. So when people are looking for answers like, 'What are you going to do?' It's just too early to speculate."

Among the players, it's Jahlil Okafor's name that's being thrown around in various NBA trade rumors, particularly with Joel Embiid set to return to the roster.

Talking about Okafor, the Sixer Sense claimed that he doesn't fit the fast-paced offense the team is trying to adopt.

"They made one step forward by acquiring a point guard that can push the ball, but also can run the offense with quick pace," it said.

With the trade deadline looming, time will only tell if the NBA trade rumors involving Jahlil Okafor will bear true.
