The Los Angeles Lakers have been playing great in the last three games, led by Kobe Bryant who is having a resurgence as of late.

While there's no news on whether Bryant will play when the Los Angeles Lakers go up against the juggernaut San Antonio Spurs, the 6-6 future hall of farmer will likely suit up just to keep the momentum going.

In the win against the New Orleans Pelicans, Bryant tuned in another vintage performance by scoring 27 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.

In the victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves, he was even more spectacular as he torched the young team for 38 points including seven threes and clutch baskets reminiscent of the pre-injured Bryant.

When prodded for explanation, Bryant said that he could not point to a single thing.

"I think it's the consistency of it," Bryant said. "In the past, when you're younger, you can train in a program for three days and then, boom, it's there. When you get there, I think it's the consistency."

For the past three games, Bryant averaged 29.3 points on 44.4 percent shooting, 8.3 rebounds and 3.3 dimes. More than that, the better news for fans is that the Los Angeles Lakers won two out of three in that span.

"I think it builds up over time, and you just have to be really, really patient and go through those ups and downs. It's hard."

Coach Byron Scott and Gary Vitti have been resting Bryant at random as a precautionary measure.

While there's no news whether he will play in the Los Angeles Lakers' match against the San Antonio Spurs on Feb. 7, Scott has acknowledged that Bryant is playing very well right now and could very well spot minutes for possibly his last game at the AT&T Center.

"I'm going to try to bottle it up for the next two months as much as possible," the Lakers coach told ESPN. "He's just on a nice little roll. He's got a great rhythm right now. He's playing great basketball."
