Charlie Hunnam engagement rumors continue to gain interest from fans. While previous rumors hinted that the "Sons of Anarchy" star has broken-up with girlfriend Morgana McNelis, it looks like all the talk are just pure speculation.
New reports claimed that Charlie and Morgana were recently spotted together in public. The couple has been very private about their relationship that seeing them together is considered a rare event.
"Charlie Hunnam rocks jeans and a hoodie while out running errands and picking up some furniture on Sunday afternoon (January 31) in Beverly Hills, Calif.," Just Jared reported. "The 35-year-old actor was joined for the outing by his girlfriend Morgana McNelis."
It was previously reported that Charlie and Morgana called it quits after years of being together, and rumors of getting secretly engaged.
"Given his unhappy demeanor, many speculated that perhaps things were amiss between Hunnam and McNelis," Inquistr reported.
"The current status of Hunnam's' relationship with McNelis remains unclear. Based on the fact that the two have not been spotted together in recent months, there is a chance that the two are going through a rough patch. That being said, the couple has been together for quite a long time now and have managed to keep their relationship strong throughout the years."
Meanwhile, the actor has also been busy dodging criticism left and right because of a new role. Reports claimed that there has been an outcry over his new role as a Mexican-American drug lord.
Legendary Studios chose Charlie to play Edgar "La Barbie" Valdez Villarreal in their film "American Drug Lord." However, not everyone was pleased with their decision as it was clearly another Hollywood case of casting a white actor to play a character of a different descent.
In their defense, Legendary Studios casted Charlie because he resembled the blonde haired and green eyed "La Barbie."
