Couple of more hours to go before the 50th Super Bowl football game begins! Where it is set to determine who will be the champion of the National Football League (NFL) for the 2015 season. Would it be NFC's champion Carolina Panthers or AFC's champion Denver Broncos?
Aside from the game itself, a standout amongst the most anticipated part of the event is the Super Bowl 50's Halftime show that is expected to bring an all star-studded singers to slay an epic performance.
With that being said, news report revealed that viewers might not see the heavy metal band, Metallica, performing in the halftime stage for this year's Super Bowl, regardless of the way that the band has consistently attracted more of a mainstream audience throughout its 35-year career.
"As far as us playing halftime for the Super Bowl, I have a feeling that ship has passed," Frontman James Hetfield told The Associated Press, as per The Seattle Times, before a sound check on Friday in San Francisco. "We're not a variety show. We're not pop. We're not sparkly, and all that kind of stuff that seems to be what's needed for that."
Regardless of that certainty, Metallica's frontman doesn't seem to mind that the band will never play the Super Bowl's halftime show.
In other related news, the 29-year-old singer, Lady Gaga, apparently went a little bit gaga with her on-going preparations in singing the National Anthem at Super Bowl 50.
"It's a total dream come true," Lady Gaga reveals in an interview ahead of the big game, as noted by Billboard. "I've always wanted to sing the National Anthem at a major sporting event since I was a little girl."
The "Born This Way" hit-maker moreover expressed that singing the National Anthem for Super Bowl 50's is definitely one of the highest honors in her singing career.
"I get a chance to sing for all the athletes who have been working so hard their whole like for this moment," she added.
Nonetheless, in spite of Metallica's hazy appearance in the picture, one thing apparently is sure and that is the British rock band, Coldplay, is set to enthral all the viewer's alongside with a special guest, Beyoncé, in Super Bowl 50's Halftime show.
