"WWE 2K17" release date may take and fans are already building up their expectations.
2K Games have not yet given full details of their upcoming annual game for 2017 but fans of the series are starting to get concerned with the gameplay. The news about the partnership of World Wresting Entertainment, or WWE and 2K Games have put the worries of their fans to a temporary halt.
According to Wrestle Zone, the video game developers have closed a new multi-year deal with WWE where there will be around 3 more years of video games to come.
"2K’s partnership with WWE over the past three years has resulted in a successful and important addition to the Company’s portfolio of profitable franchises,” said David Ismailer, 2K Games' Chief Operating Officer on an official press release. “We are thrilled with the positive momentum of the WWE 2K series, including generating year-over-year growth, as well as the success of WWE SuperCard. We are very pleased to extend our partnership with WWE and look forward to many more years of collaboration.”
Fans of the game across all gaming platforms won't have to wait for different versions of the game to be released since 2K Games already has exclusive rights to the video games to be distributed across all platforms, according to Tech Times.
The "WWE 2K17" release date is most likely set for next year since the newest addition to the wrestling video game series "WWE 2K16" was released last October 2015 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
"WWE 2K16" was reportedly praised for its growth as a game due to authentic, updated and comprehensive video game experience. It has the largest roster of WWE superstars, divas and legends in the franchise's history.
In other news, the "WWE Supercard" app is available as a free download on both the Android and iOS devices and smartphones.
