"Pitch Perfect 3" will be filming soon and in separate interviews, returning director Elizabeth Banks and Rebel Wilson who will reprise her role as Fat Amy dished details about the much-awaited sequel to the hit musical comedy film.

"How To Be Single" star Rebel Wilson recently sat down with Parade Magazine and talked about her latest movie, her goals and the upcoming "Pitch Perfect 3."

When asked, "Is there 'Pitch Perfect 3' in your future?' Rebel Wilson confirmed that she is, indeed, returning for the third installment to reprise her role as Fat Amy.

She said, "Definitely. We're filming that in the middle of 2016. It's crazy that our little musical theater lovefest turned into a huge franchise."

According to reports, Rebel Wilson's Fat Amy may be finally getting hitched in "Pitch Perfect 3." Accordingly, Fat Amy will be finally finding her "happy ever after" and will be walking down the aisle to marry Bumper (Adam DeVine).

Returning director Elizabeth Banks even said that giving Rebel Wilson a love story was one of the first things she wanted to do for "Pitch Perfect 3" because according to her, "it's something you don't see very often for characters like that."

"Pitch Perfect" producer Max Handelman also said that Wilson and DeVine's chemistry on screen is "very natural and organic."

"It was always the thought that we should put Adam and Rebel together because we've seen them be so good together a number of times," Handelman said.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Collider, "Love & Mercy" director Elizabeth Banks also talked about "Pitch Perfect 3" and the preparations they are currently making for the sequel.

When asked what she is most excited about with "Pitch Perfect 3," the actress-director said, "Well, I don't want to tell you very much about what we're planning. I think I'm really excited to figure out what the big cameos are going to be."

Banks said that "Pitch Perfect" exceeded her expectations and with how hard to make a comedy sequel live up to its first film makes it more fulfilling to her.
