With the success of the "Deadpool" movie globally, it's no wonder that its sequel has finally been given a go signal by Fox according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The publication noted that Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are writing a script for a sequel to the anti-hero's story. It was revealed that Tim Miller may continue to direct the follow-up film since the studio wants to keep the creative team together.

It was previously reported that the "Deadpool" movie has two post-credit scenes. The first post-credits scene for the "Deadpool" movie is a parody of the classic post-credits scene from "Ferris Bueller."

The second "Deadpool" movie post-credits scene the anti-hero revealed more information about a sequel and a new addition to the universe. It was also teased that Cable will make his appearance in "Deadpool 2."

Furthermore, Cable's debut in the sequel might pave the way for an "X-Force" movie. "Deadpool" actor, Ryan Reynolds, has admitted that he wants to create a film about the "X-Men" offshoot.
