"Attack On Titan" season two may put the character Ymir in the hot seat.

The second season of the popular anime series doesn't have an official release date yet but fans are already speculating that the titan-shifter Ymir may have more to offer the overall story.

Ymir, a member of the survey corps, is tall and known to have intimidating looking grey eyes. Apart from being an aloof character, she also has the ability to shift into a 7 meter tall titan thanks to her group of fellow titan-shifters.

While she may have little memory of her time as a titan, she spent sixty long years in her titan form and wandered outside the human fortress, Wall Maria.

So far there are only speculations on the second season of the anime series as nothing has been confirmed yet but the creator, Hajime Isayama, reportedly mentioned that Ymir's backstory will be explained in "Attack On Titan" season 2. Her existence has so far amounted to being a titan shifter but she could possibly be the key to the history of the titans and how they rose in the food chain in their world, as reported by Design And Trend.

Fans are hoping that the second season still follows the original material and does not go the same direction as the live action films did. While the movies were anticipated by fans around the world, and it also did earn a lot of money in the box office, it was still considered a flop by many.

In other news, the "Attack On Titan" game release date is coming soon to North America. The game has already been released in Japan and is reportedly exclusive to Playstation 3, 4, and Vita. Plus, according to Mobi Picker, the game already has a cinematic opening released.

"Attack On Titan" is a Japanese anime series that was based off a manga of the same title.
