With news of One Direction going on hiatus this 2016 and with Zayn Malik already pursuing a solo career, many fans fear that the direction the band is heading to is to their own solo careers.
Despite the band members reassuring their fans that this won't happen, there have been instances that say otherwise.
Recently, Hollywood Life made an interesting report on Louis Tomlinson's girlfriend, Danielle Campbell, seemingly giving away clues to the member's solo careers.
It was based on Campbell's interview with E! News wherein Campbell purportedly said, "Yeah, all of the boys are extremely talented and I know they will be very successful."
Was it really a hint that wasn't meant to come out of Campbell? Or was it just a simple comment about One Direction? For now, this remains to be a speculation and should best be taken with a grain of salt.
However, there's also that report about Harry Styles leaving Modest Management and transferring to Jeffrey Azoff of CAA's.
"We wish Harry the very best. It has been a real pleasure working with him," said Modest execs Richard Griffiths and Harry Magee, according to Billboard. "Harry is a total gentleman, and we know our good friend Jeffrey Azoff will look after him."
Adding fuel to the fire, news of Harry Styles wanting to go solo also emerged.
"Harry is done with One Direction," an insider purportedly told The Sun UK.
"He wants to completely disassociate with the band and that includes any professional connection. His new team will be about launching him as a solo superstar by around this time next year so the work is starting now."
"Nothing has changed regarding the hiatus plans for the group, and all will be revealed in due time from the band members' own mouths," another source purportedly told Billboard,
