Chris Brown and Rihanna may have finally moved on from each other after their messy breakup, but they continue to support each other especially in times of trials.
The 27-year-old singer recently had a meltdown when she was forced to cancel her performance at the Grammy Awards due to vocal chord issues according to Hollywood Life.
Aside from that, she also announced that there will be a delay in her "Anti" tour as she moved the dates and venue of the eight shows. Chris Brown knows what Rihanna has been going through since he had a series of meltdown before. That's why he took time to reach out to her and give her some advice.
"They've been talking by phone," a source told Hollywood Life. "Chris sympathized with her for not performing at the Grammys. At the same time, he suggested she stop throwing tantrums and just push through."
Chris Brown also advised his ex-girlfriend Rihanna to quit her vices and control her emotions since he knows this could affect her career.
"He doesn't know if she's still smoking weed on the regular but he told her to put that stuff down so she can think clearly," an insider said. "He told her that spiraling out of control isn't a good look and reminded of her that she's the Queen of Pop with so much to lose."
The 26-year-old R&B musician also recommended some anger management doctors to his ex-girlfriend since they have helped him learn how to calm down. The "Ayo" hitmaker has been in trouble a couple of times because of his temper and he doesn't want the "Diamonds" singer to end up being like him.
"Chris loves Rihanna. And even know they're not together, that's still his girl," their source revealed. "He will always look out for her no matter what."
Rihanna also revealed to Vanity Fair that she will always care about Chris Brown until the day she dies. She confirmed that they are not friends and enemies as well, but she will never hate him for what he did to her in the past.
