The Drudge Report claimed that actor Leonardo DiCaprio was raped twice by a grizzly bear in his recent film "The Revenant," telegraph.co.uk reported.

DiCaprio played the role of Hugh Glass, the protagonist of the western adventure thriller. The Revenant features the hardship of Hugh Glass as he battles harsh climate and staves off attacks from the various races all alone while recovering from wounds sustained from a brutal grizzly bear attack.

A Fox spokesperson, as per ew.com, debunked the claim that DiCapriowas raped by the attacking bear in the movie: "As anyone who has seen the movie can attest, the bear in the film is a female who attacks Hugh Glass because she feels he might be threatening her cubs."

"There is clearly no rape scene with a bear," the statement portrayed.

DiCaprio, in his interview with wired.com, admitted that The Revenant was the hardest movie he has ever done.

"Every single day of this movie was difficult. It was the most difficult film I've ever done," said the esteemed actor.

"You'll see, when you see the film-the endurance that we all had to have is very much up on the screen," he added.

DiCaprio shared that despite the weather and the movie being shot in natural light, there were also a lot of takes to get the desired scenes and effect.

"We had months of rehearsal beforehand, but every day was like doing a play. Each actor, each bit of the set, needed to be like gears in a Swiss watch, because the camera was moving around and you had to have your timing perfect," said DiCaprio.

"So we rehearsed every day, and then we had a two-hour window of natural light to shoot. This movie is a little like virtual reality-it's the closest thing to being submerged in nature. In the bear attack, you can almost feel the breath of the bear. It's unlike anything you've ever seen," he added.
