"Persona 5" has become one of the most anticipated games in2016 after Atlus announced its delay last year.

Atlus made the unfortunate announcement during the Tokyo Game Show 2015, according to IGN since they want "to make sure the next iteration of the Persona series lives up to the expectations of fans."

A new estimated date has been confirmed: summer 2016 and as the game getting closer to its Japan release date, information from the past provides clues on how players would enjoy the latest iteration of the RPG.

One of the notable features of the game is the fact that it's no longer a fish out of water experience for the protagonists. Instead of unexpected participation to the storyline, the protagonists actively seeks the challenge to be part of the storyline.

Game Informer was able to interview the Katsura Hashino (Persona 5 Director) with regards to the protagonists, "the protagonist and his team in this story aren't being dragged into some sort of case or major crisis to resolve. The story begins with each of them looking for a sense of identity, and seeking to reform society with their own will."

Long story short: the characters of the game will not wait for something to arrive that will challenge them but would rather actively seek it during the game.

Another clue that points to an action packed game is the setting outside the realm. According to PSX Extreme, "when outside those trying regions, the characters can explore a large, bustling city outside the school. This is in contrast to the last series entry, which had a quieter, small-town setting."

Japan will have the first look at the game for a summer 2016 release. While there is no indication of a release in other territories, "Persona 5" will also get a US version in the same year. The latest iteration of Atlus' RPG will be available on PlayStations 3 and 4.
