Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer's reported reality show and rumored new movie could be in danger after rumors surfaced about the comedienne ditching the "Hunger Games" actress for her new beau.
According to recent speculations, the close friends are reportedly having some tension between them, and it's all because of Amy's new boyfriend, Ben Hanisch.
"Before Ben came along, Amy and Jen were like sisters, but Amy basically dropped her," a source told Star as reported by Gossip Cop. "Jen couldn't believe it."
"[Amy] is so smitten with the hunky carpenter that she's ignoring both her friendships and the new project: a flight attendant buddy comedy she and Jen are supposed to be working on...she doesn't respond to Jen's messages. Jen acts like she's upset about the movie, but deep down she just wants her best friend back," the source added.
While it won't be impossible for a situation like this to happen between close friends, Gossip Cop gunned down the rumors and claimed that there is nothing like that going on between the hilarious duo.
It was previously reported that Jen and Amy are planning to have their own show because of their comedic partnership off-cam. However, it would not be the "Real Housewives" or "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" type of show.
"A source revealed to Grazia that the reality show will be a parody series like Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm," Harper's Bazaar reported. "Schumer and Lawrence will reportedly play exaggerated versions of themselves in the scripted series."
The source also revealed that "Jennifer is obsessed with reality TV-in particular The Real Housewives-so when Amy first proposed the idea of a spoof reality show, she was immediately enthusiastic. She loves the idea of being part of a show that depicts female friendship honestly and satirizes Hollywood at the same time."
