Amy Schumer may have given Jennifer Lawrence the push she needed to date "Civil War" hunk Chris Evans.

According to Life & Style Magazine, via Celeb Dirty Laundry, the "Hunger Games" star is now dating "Captain America: Civil War" actor Chris Evans. Evans portrays the iconic Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"It's very new. They just started seeing each other a couple of weeks ago," a source told the magazine. "Only their closest friends know."

The insider also revealed how Amy Schumer has had a hand in the meeting of Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Evans.

"Amy had actually been pushing Jen to date him, telling her how hot Chris is and how crazy she'd be if she didn't go for it," the source added.

"They've only gone on two dates so far, but they have been texting each other and talking on the phone. They even had a pizza and movie date at Jen's place."

Australia Network News also reported that Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Evans' common friend, Chris Pratt, may have helped them as well. Lawrence and Pratt are working together on their upcoming film, "Passengers."

HollywoodLife.com speculated that the "Jurassic World" star could have helped push Jennifer Lawrence into Chris Evans' arms.

The "X-Men: Apocalypse" actress was previously linked to Nicholas Hoult and Chris Martin of Coldplay. There were also rumors that she was dating her "Hunger Games" co-star, Liam Hemsworth, who has rekindled his romance with Miley Cyrus.

Meanwhile, Lawrence's BFF, "Trainwreck" star Amy Schumer, hung out with her boyfriend, Chicago-based furniture designer, Ben Hanisch, on Valentine's Day.

The couple took to their respective Instagram accounts to share photos of how they spent their Valentine's.

Hanisch posted a photo of himself and his lady love doing peace signs for the camera. They both sported athleisure wear.

The "Trainwreck" star shared a photo of herself and Ben Hanisch making goofy faces. They both captioned their posts, "Valentine."
