This week, Jane considers letting go of his virginity! Her growing relationship with hot Professor Jonathan Chavez might just take things to a different level for Jane. Everything seems to go smoothly until Jane confesses that she is still a Virgin and receives some mixed reaction from him, as seen on episode 12 promo video.
Meanwhile, while Jane gets advice from Xiomara, her mother, Rogelio and Xiomara also have problems in the relationship that needs some straightening out. Petra will also have a baby shower and guess who is planning it - Jane. This is a favor she is doing for Rafael, according to Gossip and Gab.
On the other hand, as per Broadway World, Luisa, Rafael's brother, will suffer a horrible accident. Furthermore, Michael has something interesting that he needs to tell Jane. That's something to look forward to.

Rogelio's plan of proposing to Xiomara has finally happened, even with the incident of Mateo apparently eating the diamond that was supposed to be used for the proposal, according to Channel Guide Magazine. However, Xiomara disclosed that she doesn't want to have children anymore and this made Rogelio second guess his proposal because he still wants to raise children in the future.
Also, last episode shows Rafael and Petra getting close again, but Petra tries to resist it because she feels that Rafael still has feelings for Jane.
"Jane the Virgin" season 2 follows Jane's journey after she gives birth to Mateo and becomes a mother, while still technically being a virgin. In season 1, the story tackles how Jane will get through her unexpected pregnancy. Season 2, on the other hand, shows the struggles that Jane goes through following her career, having a baby and whether to finally let go of being a virgin and opening herself to someone.
