The Gun's N Roses trio is back thirty years later, after their record-breaking breakout album "Appetite for Destruction," was released and Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan are headed to Las Vegas, for a reunion tour for 2016, according to Forbes.
After two decades of absence, both loyal fans and celebrities of the band have been highly anticipating the original lineup's three-stop tour. They are headlining Coachella and will perform in Mexico as well.
The back-to-back concerts will be held at the T-Mobile Arena and it's kicking off the first weekend of live music at the new stadium. Many considered GNR, to be the best metal band of all time. They have the most attended tours and record-breaking album sales. They have also been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
DJ Ashba, who is a former Guns N' Roses guitarist, recently shared that he hopes Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler could also join the band's reunion for 2016. This also includes Gilby Clarke and Matt Sorum, reported NME.
"I love it for the fans," wrote Ashba on Sixx:A.M.'s Facebook page, which answered a fan's question. "However, I hope they bring in Steven, Izzy and even Matt and Gilby!"
In 2009, DJ Ashba joined the band and continued to play with them for six years. He focused on his band, Sixx:A.M. in 2015, and announced his GNR departure.
"It is with a very heavy heart and yet great pride that I announce that I've decided to close this chapter of my life and encapsulate the wonderful times that I've shared with Guns N'Roses into fond memories," DJ Ashba wrote in July 2015.
The news about a Guns N' Roses Reunion for 2016 spread like wildfire online, when it was announced in January that the band was headlining Coachella 2016. Axl Rose confirmed later, that Slash and Duff McKagan, agreed to performing together.
Rumors of a world tour are starting to surface online but no official announcement has been made by the band, shared J&H.
