It's Christmas in February for gamers as Microsoft announced new titles coming soon to Xbox One backwards compatibility list.
UK's Express, revealed that "Call of Duty: Black Ops" will be released on Xbox One backwards compatibility by the end of the month, in response to fans' clamor.
"The official Xbox One feedback site lets fans vote on what games they would like to be made playable on Xbox One, it was launched shortly after Backward Compatibility was revealed in 2015," it said.
The article went on to add, "The top ten is dominated by the Call of Duty franchise, the no.1 spot is occupied by Black Op 2, with Modern Warfare 2 in fourth, Black Ops in fifth, Modern Warfare in sixth, Modern Warfare 3 in seventh and World at War in eighth."
Aside from "Black Ops," the other titles that will be included in the Xbox One backwards compatibility include "Bioshock" franchise, along with 1 and 2 and "Infinite," "Sam & Max," "Trials HD," and Alan "Wake's American Nightmare and Lego Batman: The Video Game."
"However, some games that are relatively massive, like Skyrim, may take much longer to become available; or, it is possible that it may never become available at all," the report said.
Nevertheless, fans were able to download from Xbox One backwards compatibility some leaked titles like the "Red Dead Redemption," "Tekken Tag Tournament 2" and "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night."
When Microsoft realized that they were uploaded, the titles were immediately erased from the list.
But the games are still playable on Xbox One although with a caveat: they would technically breach an Xbox Live conduct.
However, the fact that they were leaked this early, said N4BB, probably means that they would eventually find themselves in the Xbox One backwards compatibility games list.
