Richard Attenborough was set to produce Martin Scorsese's movie, "Silver Ghost" and the film will be co-produced by Anthony Haas. The project was first announced in 2012.

"I've been captivated by the story of Silver Ghost ever since Lord Attenborough came to me with the project and I'm thrilled that we're going to be seeing it through," said Haas. "It's a project that requires a great and innovative storyteller, and that's exactly what we have with Asif Kapadia."

Kapadia also shared, that when he read the film's script about "five remarkable people," their lives, and how they wove the true story together, he was amazed how these people changed the Western World's destiny. He expressed his excitement as well, on working with Scorsese.

"I am delighted to be working together with the legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese and Anthony Haas to bring it to the screen," Kapadia said.

Haas and Attenborough established "Zuma Prods." to produce the Rolls Royce movie but Attenborough passed away in 2014, reported Variety.

Currently, Martin Scorsese is in "Silence's" post-production and the movie, stars Liam Neeson, Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver. The film is set in seventeenth century Japan and it is about Jesuit priests. "Silver Ghost's" production start date is yet to be revealed.

"When Richard Attenborough was asked how he would like to be remembered, he replied 'as a storyteller,'" added Haas. "Asif also knows how to tell a deeply personal and epic story and 'Silver Ghost' is an amazing untold tale of the highs and lows of what makes us human," cited Deadline.
