The "Final Fantasy 7" remake may take a while before it gets released because Nintendo has a new update to their plans.

The upcoming remake of the popular role playing game by Square Enix will be delayed as Nintendo has alleged plans to release it along side "Final Fantasy 15" for Nintendo NX.

According to Crossmap, both Nintendo and Square Enix came to an agreement concerning the games. The upcoming gaming console, the Nintendo NX, is the much anticipated next generation machine that will have the "Final Fantasy 7" remake and "Final Fantasy 15" as part of the exclusive game titles upon its release.

The "Final Fantasy 7" remake will be made in episodic form and, while it initially disappointed fans because of the company's update to cut up the game, there were a number of upgrades that were made.

The gameplay was one of the first things that the developers upgraded and put the original turn-based gameplay aside. The graphics of the game was next on the checklist as the developers worked on bringing the iconic characters and settings to life by creating realistic computer generated images.

Lawyer Herald reported that because of the immense pressure to follow the source material, the company is willing to delay the release to make sure that the game looks and feels as original as possible.

The timing of the "Final Fantasy 7" remake could have allegeldy been planned with the update from Nintendo. Both companies had already come to an agreement on the Nintendo NX but it hasn't been the first agreement they've come upon.

According to Breathe Cast, Cloud Strife, the iconic protagonist of "Final Fantasy 7," is a DLC character in Nintendo's "Super Smash Bros."

There is no exact release date set for "Final Fantasy 15," "Final Fantasy 7" remake or Nintendo NX but has fans and gamers speculating that it may happen within the next two years.
