Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan's "Outlander" Season 2 teaser may have more to it than just the French influence.
The two stars of the time-travelling drama revealed how their "Outlander" world would look like if it was set in a different time. The popular culture may make the characters fishes out of the water but it would be interesting to see how Jaime and Claire would be like in the new series.
They took a pop culture quiz in an Entertainment Weekly video interview and talked about everything from hairstyles to emojis and boybands.
"Jaime would rock the ultimate mullet," said Heughan when asked about what hairstyle would each of the characters wear if the story was set in 1986. When it came to music Balfe immediately mentioned Boyz To Men as the group her character would most probably enjoy listening to.
In other news, "Outlander" stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe were recently featured on the cover of Entertainment Weekly. They may have taken fans aback as they wore next to nothing in each other's embrace with Heughan wearing the traditional Scottish kilt.
Their effortless chemistry has been speculated by avid fans of the show and may have been fueled once again as it was very obvious they're a perfect match in the cover of the EW's March issue cover.
“We’ve had to get very close so we do trust each other very implicitly,” explained the actor on EW. “We’re very lucky that we do have that trust and it comes across to the screen, I guess.”
According to Carter Matt, the filming for the upcoming season has already ended and the cast and crew are currently taking a breather before going on the promotional tour of the "Outlander" series.
"Outlander" season 2, starring Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe, will premiere on April 9, 2016, at 9 p.m. on Starz.
