Initially, there were rumors that "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" expansion would get released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only. However, now, it has been confirmed that the much-awaited Tekken update will be coming to arcades as well.
According to Christian Today, Japanese arcade game company AM-Net recently mentioned a schedule for the arcade release of "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" in Japan in its announcement.
Reportedly, arcade owners, who want to have "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, " can place pre-orders for new machines until March 18.
It is rumored that the upcoming arcade version of the DLC will be rolled out in July, ahead of PS4 and Xbox One editions, reported Yibada.
Meanwhile, a new game trailer for "Tekken 7" was recently released by Bandai Namco. The trailer revealed what fans can expect from the updated version of the sequel including characters, rage system and power-ups.
The video shows a glimpse of combat featuring the Street Fighter character Akuma, fighter Nina Williams in her Fatal Bride costume and a new Rage system.
The Tekken sequel will feature an updated Rage System wherein players will be able to use buffs in their moves, such as Rage Attack and Rage Arts, according to N4BB.
Claudio, Katarina, Lucky Chloe, Shaheen, Josie, Gigas, Kazumi, Kazuya, Heihachi, Lars, Asuka, Lili, Alisa, Xiaoyu, Feng Wei, Paul, Marshall Law, Steve Fox, Leo, Hwoarang, King, Dragunov, Bryan, Jin, Devil Jin, Yoshimitsu and Jack-7 are among the characters in the roster as listed in the official "Tekken 7" website.
While, "Tekken 7" for the PS4 was announced back in October last year, there is still no word on the release date.
According to GameRevolution, the developer had earlier announced that they will first focus on "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" in the Japanese arcades and then advance work on developing the console version.
It is expected that "Tekken 7" PS4 and Xbox One versions will get a release date in late 2016.
