"Jessica Jones" mind-boggling journey has already been renewed, but when is she coming back? Netflix's Psychological thriller TV series is confirmed to bring back the superhero private investigator, but does it anticipated release date has truly been affected?
After several report has circled that "Jessica Jones" will return airing with its season 2, fans have apparently been more than excited to hear more details about the return of Netflix's TV series.
However, latest updates on the TV series have pointed towards the development of "Jessica Jones," where the CCO of Netflix, Ted Sarandos, recently spoke to IGN about the reason on why the release date of the critically acclaimed series has sadly been postponed.
In its reports, Ecumenical News noted that the big giant streaming company is adhering to their initial five-series plan and that their plans for several crossover of the series, as well as the big plans for the production, will be the explanation behind the deferral.
"It's possible," said Ted Sarandos. "Right now, these are produced at the scale of a major film, so they're long production times and long post times. In some cases, we have character crossover, which makes it more difficult to manage production in a way to jam two or three in. It's not the goal, certainly, to put more than one or two out a year," he added.
The internet world recently blasted with news taking note of Netflix's big announcement, where they won't reportedly release more than two Marvel based shows TV series a year in light of the fact that producing such TV series requires an ample amount of time.
Well, if reports are to be trusted, the vast majority of fans will surely be unhappy to know that "Jessica Jones" season 2 will take a while to return.
Needless to say, to everyone who's thirsty for some news concerning "Jessica Jones" plot, most recent reports just revealed that Kilgrave, played by David Tennant, will still assume a major role in Jessica's character development despite the fact that his character has totally died.
Well, it seems that post-traumatic anxiety doesn't simply go away in a snap, as it was already been noted that Kilgrave's presence will still be felt in the upcoming season 2.
With that being said, the official release date for "Jessica Jones" hasn't been announced yet as of this writing. The TV series' season 2 is coming indeed, but when?
