"No Man's Sky" updates are all leaks that give expecting fans some hope that the game may be released soon.
The pre-order date and price of the upcoming adventure video game has been leaked by Sony itself. A graphic was reportedly uploaded on the U.S. Playstation Blog before it was taken down .
According to Ubergizmo, the infographic that was uploaded by Sony announced that the game was available for pre-order starting today and would be priced at $59.99. The price may seem pretty steep but that is normally how much major games cost on a normal basis.
Fans would initially look forward to the leak but may end up being disappointed as the "No Man's Sky" infographic update didn't contain a release date. Earlier reports have noted that the developers intentionally did not announce a date in order to make sure they would be able to finish the game without the pressure of a deadline. This way there aren't expectations and the game isn't launched in a rushed manner.
However, as noted by Christian Post, the two-year waiting period for the game's release may also be the cause of fans' loss of enthusiasm.
The game was also speculated to disappoint because of the hype that followed the promise of a great indie game. Not only is the game about space adventure but sheer size of the game is questionable as there are reportedly 18 quintillion planets to discover where all of them have unique flora and fauna.
"No Man's Sky's" release date is set for June this year but Hello Games has not announced an exact date.
In other news, there is a possibility that the game may be made compatible with VR-tech, since there are a number of consumer devices set to be released in the coming years, but this is unconfirmed as well.
