Toyota Prius' 2016 Sales Could Benefit By Being Known As The Most Attractive Hybrid Car

The Toyota Prius 2016 sales could take a turn for the better this year.

The car just got called the most attractive hybrid car and the figures don't lie. The car went on sale last January and reportedly got over 18,600 Prius Sales.

"Get ready to take everyone by surprise," as described by the Toyota website. "The 2016 Prius is here with a striking new look that will shake up the status quo. Its sleek shape has been engineered to cheat the wind and win over the crowd. Stylish front and rear LED lighting helps this hybrid make a powerful statement. And available 17-in. alloy wheels ensure that this hybrid rolls in style every time it hits the streets."

According to the website, the design wasn't made just to look good, it was designed that way in order to help reduce wind resistance and in turn help maximum fuel efficiency. It has an active grille shutter, aero stabilizing fins and underbody panels that are engineered to help save energy.

There are a number of different models to choose from however the base price of the Toyota Prius is at $34,990 and the i-Tech version costs $42,990. The Toyota Prius 2016 sales may do better also because it has seven colors to choose from: Hypersonic Red, Blizzard Pearl, Classic Silver Metallic, Magnetic Grey Metallic, Midnight Black Metallic, Sea Glass Pearl and Blue Crush Metallic. 

Those who are interested in buying the latest hybrid car should take note that the prices doesn't include registration, the dealer delivery and other miscellaneous costs. 

According to The Motor Report, the cars have a lot of new features that made up for the downfall of its predecessor. Apart from the up to date battery and engine, standard safety equipment, leather upholstered seats, 17-inch alloy wheels and more, the car has a roomier cabin and lower seat mounting that improves headroom and even provides more legroom. 

There is even high-end tech added in the newest model, like a color head-up display, a TFT instrument panel, bi-LED headlamps, an inductive loop phone charging pad and even an electro-chromatic rear view mirror.
