Simon Cowell finally talks about the split of the One Direction and Zayn Malik.

After the members of the British boyband announced their hiatus, fans everywhere were distraught by the news. However, there is good news as producer Simon Cowell talks about the upcoming solo debuts of the members and even talks about former member Zayn Malik.

"Yeah, there will be more, I'm absolutely sure of that," Simon Cowell told E! News, as reported by The Metro. "Well, it was always going to come. You can't work at that level; the way they did. I mean lots of things are going to be announced over the next few months, but they were, are, the nicest people, you know, to work with. Hardworking, appreciate everything, so it won't be the end/"

The careers of his talents are the main priority but he has good words to say about Zayn Malik who had split from One Direction in March 2015. Malik has since then released his own single titled "Pillowtalk" later.

"We were involved with what label he went on, and he's still signed to our company," Cowell said about Malik on Design & Trend. "He's done fantastic, and he's showing that he's a great vocalist and very talented."

Harry Styles will reportedly be focusing on a career in acting, Liam Payne is already working on his single, Louis Tomlinson has just become a father by welcoming his first child and Niall Horan, on the otherhand, put his music career on hold to manage his own golf firm, as reported by Daily Mail.

There is no update as to when One Direction will return as a group after the split since the members have decided to focus on their own careers.

Simon Cowell brought the boys together after they had appeared on the British X-Factor and has been known to be a judge on various reality talent-search shows in both the United Kingdom and the United States.
