Fifth Harmony already confirmed that a new album, "7/27," will be out on May 20 and the new single, "Work From Home," has already entered the Billboard and several other charts.
In the Twitter Q & A Fifth Harmony hosted last Friday, March 4, the group composed of Camila Cabello, Dinah Jane, Ally Brooke, Lauren Jauregui and Normani Kordei dished details about their upcoming new album, "7/27."
"I feel like sonically, we kind of found our thing to stick to," Camila Cabello said (via Just Jared Jr.). "I feel like in 'Reflection' we explored with that 808 and kind of like urban beat as a backbone, like the one you hear in 'Bo$' and 'Worth It' and now 'Work From Home.'"
"So I feel like that kind of represented us as a group really well," Camila added. "And so we kind of explored that more and more in this album. So sonically, I think that's one thing you can expect from it."
Accordingly, Normani Kordei said that fans will certainly enjoy listening "7/27" and it will make them know Fifth Harmony better.
"I think that honestly, it's just a fun body of work that people will leave listening to hopefully feeling confident and more, like, closer to us," Kordei said.
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell, who is responsible for forming Fifth Harmony on America's "X Factor" back in 2012, said in a recent interview that he is definitely excited about "7/27" and even calls it amazing and a "killer album."
In an interview with E! News, Simon Cowell said (via Xpose.ie), "From America this year, our big focus in the States this year is Fifth Harmony, and they've got a killer album coming out, the album's amazing."
Fifth Harmony's new album, "7/27," is a reference to the date when Camila Cabello, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke and Normani Kordei officially became a group in America's "The X Factor."
