The "NCIS" finale is nearing to mark Michael Weatherly's Tony DiNozzo's exit from the show but before that, the upcoming episode titled "Reasonable Doubts" airing on Mar. 22 will see the return of Robert Wagner as Anthony DiNozzo Sr., who may be coming with a big revelation with him that will rack things up.
The official synopsis of the "NCIS" Season 13 episode titled "Reasonable Doubts" published in Carter Matt reads: "The NCIS team must ascertain who is lying, the wife or the mistress, after the women accuse each other of murdering a Navy Public Affairs officer. Also, Anthony DiNozzo, Sr. helps a homeless woman who he believes is his father."
According to Carter Matt, as the official synopsis implies, it looks like Tony DiNozzo has a sister he does not know about and DiNozzo Sr. may have a past that is set to become a big revelation in the upcoming episode.
"It's hard to say, but if this does turn out to be a secret relative of Tony's could this lead in some way to why Michael Weatherly's character is leaving the show?" Carter Matt wrote.
The report added, "If Tony really wanted to leave 'NCIS,' he would have before now. It could take something big in order for him to consider a move elsewhere." Hence, the secret may be that "big" that it may eventually cause Tony DiNozzo leaving his NCIS team.
Movie News Guide shares this view, saying that if the homeless woman mentioned in the synopsis is, indeed, Anthony DiNozzo Sr.'s daughter and Tony DiNozzo's sister, viewers can expect a change to happen in the equation of some relationships.
"Some characters in 'NCIS' Season 13 would witness intense emotions and some conflict could also arise. This can be assumed because this is what happens in real life if people don't disclose their past in personal relationships," Movie News Guide wrote.
