As one of the highest-earning celebrity couples worldwide, it wouldn't be a surprise if Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris collaborate on a music together. But recent reports mentioned Harris isn't open to working with Swift to collaborate on a song or music.
According to a report by Mirror, it was Calvin's team who initiated the collaboration of the DJ to the "Bad Blood" hit maker. Furthermore, a newspaper source reportedly said that "Calvin's next single is ready but the label is keen for him to get a big female US star to collaborate on it. They know he attracts amazing names because everyone wants to work with him."
Speculations also suggest that Harris is currently communicating with Beyonce to work on a new song.
As to the reason why Harris declined the idea, the source said that "Calvin has seen how sour things can turn when working with someone he's dating. He is very serious about Taylor and doesn't want to rock the boat. He's smitten." It was also revealed that Harris declined politely to the team's request when they brought up the idea.
It can be recalled that Harris had a bad break-up with ex-girlfriend Rita Ora last 2014. This is probably the reason why the mega-producer did not doubt to decline the idea.
Radio One Lebanon recalled that the Harris-Ora break-up was in disorder. They were in the middle of working for Ora's music when the incident happened. It was reported that Harris did not allow Ora to perform her hit song "I Will Never Let You Down" in one of the MTV Movie Awards. He even confined some tracks in Ora's second studio album when the break-up happened.
Fans have only to wait who the mega-producer will be collaborating with in the next projects he'll be producing soon.
