There are speculations that Ian Somerhalder will be leaving "The Vampire Diaries."
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the "Twilight" star may be encouraging her husband to leave "The Vampire Diaries" to end his association with his ex-girlfriend. It is doubtful, though, that this will stop the Ian Somerhalder, Nikki Reed and Nina Dobrev love triangle rumors.
Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev met in The CW series, "The Vampire Diaries." It was said that the actress' decision to leave the show was caused by her misunderstanding with the actor.
However, Dobrev has admitted that she left the show to move forward to the next chapter of her life.
It was previously reported that Nikki Reed was relieved with the fact that her husband will no longer be working with his ex-girlfriend.
There are still rumors that Nina Dobrev will be back to reprise her role as Elena Gilbert in "The Vampire Diaries."
This may be why Nikki Reed is pushing Ian Somerhalder to quit "TVD" as well. The actor has previously posted photos on his Instagram account which implied that he will miss the show after he leaves.
"Looking into the future," the actor captioned a photo of his eye peeking out of a hole. "Love, Ian." In another photo, he thanked his fans for six years on the air and for putting them on the top TV shows list.
Ian Somerhalder also posted an image of his Damon Salvatore season 1 look for the test trailer. It appeared as if the actor is reminiscing his times on the set of "The Vampire Diaries."
Nikki Reed may have nothing to worry about, though, since Nina Dobrev apparently does not plan on coming back to the show.
CW president Mark Pedowitz even admitted that the network would be glad if the actress decides to come back. Dobrev reportedly refused to work with Ian Somerhalder again.
