Paris Jackson now has an edgy look, which may be intended to send her grandmother over the edge.
According to Mail Online, the 17-year-old was spotted in Los Angeles with bleached blonde hair just a few days after she had her strawberry blonde look.
Paris Jackson oozed chic punk with an off-shoulder top, black leggings and a pair of Adidas high-top sneakers. She paired it off with a colorful boho backpack as well as several bracelets and earrings.
She recently posted a photo of her short strawberry locks with the caption: "You gotta embrace the awkward phase from jet black to blonde where it's pretty much orange... ch ch ch ch changes."
Mirror noted that Jackson looked "happy and confident" as she went out and about with her bold hairstyle.
Apparently, the 17-year-old actress' drastic makeover is a form of rebellion against her grandmother and legal guardian, Katherine Jackson, Radar Online reported.
"Katherine always loved Paris's hair and that is why Paris cut it all off and dyed it," a source said to the publication. "She is basically doing everything right now that they do not want her to do."
Moreover, the King of Pop's daughter is said to do the exact opposite of what her guardians want.
"Katherine and Joe both told her that she is not to smoke any more cigarettes, but she is not listening," a family friend revealed..
"She told them that it is her life and she is going to do what she wants. Paris's family is extremely worried about her right now, but they are actually just allowing her to continue smoking right now because they are so afraid of her shutting them out even more."
It was previously reported that Paris Jackson has lost another link to her deceased father, Michael Jackson, after his personal magician died. Majestik Magnificent died on Feb. 20, in the early hours of the morning after losing the battle to cancer.
It was noted that Paris Jackson was close to the magician ever since she was young and that the death has been hard on her.
