Previous reports stated March 2016 as the most feasible release date of the Macbook Pro alongside the Macbook Air. It has also been discussed by several reports that the upcoming laptop from Apple will be shifting to a Skylake processor to keep up with competition. However, no information has been divulged regarding its other features until recently, Parent Herald reported that it will be coming with a detachable keyboard and a touch screen.
So how true could this report be?
According to the report, International Data Collection Program Director Ryan Reith, declared that Apple will be implementing the touch screen feature in the new Macbook Pro. This feature is expected to come as well in the succeeding Macbook laptops, but the information was not yet officially confirmed by the tech firm.
To elaborate more on its new processor, Parent Herald discussed that the Skylake Processor to be installed is Intel's 6th generation which will be able to improve its overall performance and graphics performance. On the other hand, Macworld mentioned that the Skylake Processor will be able to improve the battery performance of the upcoming device.
In terms of display, the laptop will be equipped with an OLED screen which will be able to produce 4k graphics and improve its retina display to a 2,304 by 1,440 pixels in terms of resolution.
In terms of design, Macworld reported that Apple is not expected to be changing the Macbook's design, but a possibility of a Macbook in gold tone is expected.
As for the other features, it is expected that the Macbook Pro will also be armed with the OS X El Capitan Operating System, a USB-C connection and a Thunderbolt Port.
It is still a confusion as of this writing whether the new device will be launched on March in a special Apple event or in June during the tech giant's WWDC.
