"Assassination Classroom" chapter 178 is already online on Manga Fox. The chapter's title is "Time for Tears" as it notes it's finally time to end the manga series. Just like the previous chapter, the latest edition focuses on the parting words of Korosensei for his students. Before any predictions on the final chapters, here's a brief recap.

Korosensei surprised his students one last time and gave them specific instructions on food, career and love. The instructions are very specific that he made a really thick personalized book for each student. Each book contains a comic book introduction that details their first meeting as well as their adventures with the teacher.

The students requested Professor Karasuma if they could attend the ceremony and they were gladly permitted. Nagisa also has a special gift from Korosensei: her parents are now back together as the teacher secretly tried to mend her family's relationship.

Although the reporters and the military tries to infiltrate the school, Professor Karasuma blocked them and some students in other classes also helped in preventing reporters from pushing through for an interview. The chapter ends with Nagisa boarding the bus as it leaves the school.

Although the story has practically ended, there are still two more chapters. The remaining chapters will most likely be an epilogue where students go on with their lives and even career. Aside from the students, the story of Karasuma and Irina will also continue as professors in the school.

The Reddit forum on the latest chapter discusses on how the student feels that it's finally over. User Love Potato at Manga Fox forum speculates that Korosensei might just be around, "Particles of light? That sounds suspicious TBH. Maybe he'll turn back to human like most people hoped, but honestly I prefer the heartwarming peaceful death route."

There's also a part in the latest chapter where Korosensei indicates that his story could be given a spinoff where he actually lives in the end. This might just be wishful thinking in the part of the teacher but the manga's popularity could encourage the author for some side story about Korosensei's adventures.
