Just when many thought that the conclusion to the "Harry Potter" franchise has ended, J.K. Rowling, famous author of the book series, recently announced the release of its eight book, "Harry Potter and The Cursed Child."

Alongside this release, die-hard fans are expecting as well that this will be adapted into a movie. However, the 50-year old author announced that film adaptation for this particular book won't be happening, Movie News Guide reported.

In her Twitter Post last March 1, Rowling confirmed "You heard wrong, I'm afraid. #CursedChild is a play. #FantasticBeasts will be 3 movies, though!"

While it is known that a spin-off movie "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them," to the "Harry Potter" series is already being prepared, some fans are also hopeful the eight book could be turning into a movie in the future. But as mentioned earlier, Rowling has already denied the speculations.

The report furthermore added that the eight book will be revolving on Harry's story as a father of three children and an Auror working at the Ministry of Magic. The play act on the other hand will be first performed on July 30, 2016 at the Palace Theater in London.

Who knows, this announcement might still change in the future, and fans could all be in ecstasy if the wishful thinking for the movie adaptation would be happening. After all, the launching of this play act could turn the situation into a myriad of possibilities in the future.

As for now, Harry Potter fans are still on the verge of waiting for the release of the eight book in print, soon, and the launching of the spin-off movie "Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them" which will be shown in theaters on November 18 this year.

The spin-off movie is expected to come in trilogy, Movie News Guide added.
