The HTC One M10 release date may be next month but consumers are now thinking twice about getting the newest release from HTC.
There are rumors that the M10's release date will be in April but the company has not yet confirmed it. There were leaked photos of the upcoming smartphone that were posted online and it doesn't look as great as expected.
Popular Twitter leaksters @Onleaks and @Evleaks have revealed leaked renders of the upcoming flagship phone by HTC. Apart from the familiar design, the device look overy similar to the HTC One A9 budget phone. While that may not be necessarily a bad thing, consumers are hoping that the material it is made of will make up for the design.
"The HTC 10 is speculated to arrive with a 5.2-inch display that would be carrying support for 2560 x 1440 pixels," as reported by International Business Times. "It will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. The native storage of the HTC 10 will be of 32 GB."
"It will arrive pre-installed with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and HTC Sense 8 UI. It will be equipped with a USB Type-C port."
The new smartphone is also rumored to feature a 12-megapixel UltraPixel primary camera that will have dual-flash as well as laser auto-focus and OIS.
Early speculations noted that a Windows 10 Mobile edition of the M10 will be made available but it doesn't look like it will happen. GSMArena reported that the Taiwanese company will not be releasing a Windows 10 variant.
The potential release date for the HTC One M10 could be on Apr. 19, 2016 as seen in one of the leaked images. This is probably the best time to release their newest phone since other brands like Samsung and LG have already released their newest devices. However, there is no confirmation from the company as to whether it is true or not.
