More rumors and speculations, are spreading by the day about "Red Dead Redemption 2," now that the Electronic Entertainment Expo, which is also known as E3 is just around the corner, according to Mobipicker.
Publisher and video game distributor Take-Two Interactive, owns Rockstar Games and they reportedly said, that they will be presenting "in a big way" at the E3. Fans are speculating that the upcoming game may be announced at the event. On the other hand, some die-hard fans believe that the release date is slated at the end of the year, while other fans say it will debut in 2017.
Some followers believe that there will be three main characters in the game, where one is customizable and the other two are fixed. Three protagonists won't really be a surprise, since "Grand Theft Auto 5" had multiple main characters. A less likely rumor suggests that the game's title is "Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends Of The West."
Meanwhile, Take-Two Interactive president Karl Slatoff, was recently asked why they don't annualize their most popular brands, revealed Gamespot.
"We don't intend to change annual strategy because of product fatigue," answered Slatoff. "(Take-Two) creates franchise value and (releases have) to be managed deliberately. It's tempting to have continuous releases and milk a franchise as far as you can (but) we've seen that fatigue in other franchises in the games industry. With almost every single franchise for us, the latest release is bigger than the one before."
The original "Red Dead" was released in 2010 and some followers believe that the second installment should have been released a couple of years after, reported The Christian Times.
Take-Two Interactive, will reportedly also demo "Mafia 3" at the E3. The event will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, in June 2016. Fans should take any "Red Dead Redemption 2" news with a grain of salt, since an official announcement has yet to be made.
