Paramore has just wrapped up their latest gig in Parahoy and now that they are back, Hayley Williams announced that they are finally working on their new album.
According to Upset Magazine, Paramore is now starting its work for their fifth studio album and their follow-up material to 2013's "Paramore."
Paramore's lead, Hayley Williams, recently posted on Twitter the announcement saying: "Safe travels everybody flying home from Parahoy."
"Had a blast! Headed home and the work begins. Album 5 + GDY = 2016," Hayley Williams added on her Twitter post following their Parahoy gig.
Their gig in Parahoy is the band's second cruise, where they had hosting sets from Chvrches, New Found Glory, mewithoutYou, Lights and more.
During their March 7 performance in Parahoy, Paramore also gave a salute to her former and current band mates.
"This past year has been a year that for me, I never want to relive again," Hayley Williams told the Parahoy crowd in the evening show (via Billboard). "At the same time, I would do it again if it meant understanding what having a real friend in this life feels like. Taylor, thank you so much for being awesome."
According to Billboard, when Hayley Williams mentioned guitarist Taylor York, the crowd erupted into "PARAMORE!" chants. After bassist Jeremy Davis left the band in December 2015, Taylor York became Paramore's only rostered band member.
"It is an honor to play music with all the people that are here. It's been an honor to play music with Josh (Farro), with Zac (Farro), with Jeremy, everyone that's ever played with Paramore. It's such an honor, to have friendship and music rolled into one thing... only God can do that. I'm just glad it's not over because I want to keep doing it," Hayley said further, after which, she introduced the whole band including their new bassist Joey Howard.
