Venture Capital Post has stated that “Dancing with the Stars” pro dancer, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis, have reunited for their “Shall We Dance on Ice” performance that was aired last Saturday. This reunion has sparked rumors that they were having an “ongoing love affair” once again.
Moreover, Chmerkovskiy posted a photo of himself and Davis on his official Instagram page a couple of days ago. “Got to see this one today! But, all you can see @meryldavis and me perform at #ShallWeDanceOnIce airs this Saturday on ABC! #ColgateOnIce.” Taking a look at the photograph, it looks like the two have somewhat rekindled a romance between them. “What are you waiting for? You are not getting any younger, you know!” said a fan.
“We obviously became incredibly close during the show and, sort of, coming away from that experience where we were no longer spending every day together, it was interesting to, sort of, continue to grow our friendship in a different capacity,” Davis told Glamour.
“I absolutely love him,” she added, as per Just Jared Jr. “And, he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship. Getting a chance to know him away from training for ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ I think we’ve gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which, of course, just makes you closer.”
Before all of these dating rumors surfaced on the Internet, the two used to be partners on the 18th season of the famous dance competition, “Dancing with the Stars.” However, after they won the season, they were still spotted hanging out with one another on countless times, sparking the rumors that they were actually dating in real life.
“I want Meryl to be the last person I dance with,” Chmerkovskiy said. “The last person I got to be passionate with and care so much for. I was a dancing pro on the show for about a decade and I needed the trophy to show for it. But, Meryl was part of that.”
