Last week, rumors surfaced that Emma Watson and Prince Harry have been secretly dating. Woman's Day exclusively revealed that the couple was getting to know each other well.
The publication reported that when the prince heard that the actress had broken up with British rugby player, Matthew Janney, he allegedly called mutual friends to "help him hook up with the actress." Furthermore, he purportedly invited Emma out through a short email saying that he would like to get to know her.
"Harry didn't want her to feel like she was put on the spot. A party also shows he's fun and not stuffy," explained an insider for Woman's Day.
"He's smitten - and it's more than Emma's looks," the insider added.
The internet received the news with excitement. User @xsophiehoughton tweeted, "Emma Watson and Prince Harry?!?!?! LONG LIVE PRINCESS EMMA!!!!!"
Emma Watson might become a real-life princess and what a good one she would be. She is best known for her role as Hermione Granger, the intelligent, strong female lead in the "Harry Potter" film series. The 24-year-old actress is also graduated with a bachelor's degree in English Literature and is appointed as a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador. Watson helped launch the gender equality campaign "HeForShe". She will also be portraying Belle in the Disney live-action film "Beauty and the Beast".
However, rumors will remain speculations as Emma debunked all dating rumors through a post from her personal Twitter account. On Sunday morning, she tweeted, "WORLD ♥ Remember that little talk we had about not believing everything written in the media?!" T
