"DmC: Devil May Cry 5" is an action-adventure video game with hack and slash elements. Published by Capcom for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows, this 5th part of the "Devil May Cry" series serves as a reboot.

The game is focused on a half-angel and half-demon named Dante as he fights his enemies and navigate through Limbo City and its parallel world.

The Angel and Devil Modes, which change Dante's moveset, are a new addition to "Devil May Cry 5." These modes can be activated by holding down one of the trigger buttons in the console. The devil trigger function in the game freezes enemies in their tracks instead of turning Dante into a demon.

Another exciting mode for "DmC: Devil May Cry 5" is the Turbo Mode which allows the player to increase the actual core gameplay. This means that the game's speed can go faster by twenty percent than a normal game at 60 frames per second in 1080p. The Turbo Mode also features improved texture, manual target lock, more character and weapons skins as well as an additional chapter for Vergil's Downfall.

Capcom is purportedly developing "Devil May Cry 5" without Ninja Theory since they are continuing to work on their new IP "Hellblade."

"Capcom reportedly confirmed that 'Devil May Cry 5' would be ready for 2015... Dualshockers reported that Ninja Theory only promised the return of 'Devil May Cry' 'Maybe one day.'" Kpopstarz reported.

"We want to reduce the time needed to develop major titles from the usual three-to-four years to only 2.5 years. Speeding up development will probably raise the cost. But creating quality content will be vital to Capcom's ability to survive by overcoming intense global competition," Capcom chairman and CEO Kenzo Tsujimoto supposedly said to investors.

Capcom has released the "DmC: Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition." According to Gamestop, this edition includes the same gameplay from the original release and "maximizes the potential of the next-gen hardware." A new feature enables gamers to play as Dante's twin brother at Vergil's Bloody Palace Mode.
