"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is an upcoming fighting game developed by CyberConnect2.
The 6th and final installment of "Ultimate Ninja Storm" is published by Bandai Namco Games for the following consoles: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U and Microsoft Windows through Steam.
The game is based on the manga entitled "Naruto" by Masashi Kishimoto and is a part of the "Naruto: Ultimate Ninja" series.
"Unlike the other games in the series that have come before it, NarutoShippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is being developed around a core design philosophy that focuses on giving the game longevity," Gaming Bolt reported.
New gameplay mechanics are being developed in order to make the game last as long as possible. New combat mechanics have been created from scratch exclusively for this game. These fresh techniques are said to have opened strategies for the players. Furthermore, the game's internal combat and damage systems have been recreated to make it feel brand new.
The game's core is comprised of PvP and PvE conflicts in the "Naruto" universe with each player being able to control a character. Combat is still in the usual format with one-on-one battles with a wide array of button combinations for special attacks. Damage calculation has also been reworked which will affect the overall damage output by the characters, combos and match length.
With 80 playable characters and 7 supporting characters, the roster for "NarutoShippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is deemed as the most impressive cast ever. It will reportedly include the recent characters who appeared in the manga and some who were featured in "Naruto the Movie."
The Wire-Fru technique will also be featured in the game. This is the same technique used in the fight scenes for the "Matrix" movie series. Sasuke and Naruto will team up and combine their powers, with Naruto using his Magma Release: Rasen-Shuriken and Sasuke's Blaze Release: Amaterasu. The Wire-Fru technique allegedly enables all popular characters to combine their powers and defeat the enemy.
