Justin Bieber revealed that ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez has been his source of inspiration for his newest album.

The 21-year-old artist admitted that he has been pouring out his emotions into songs for his upcoming Kanye West-produced album.

"There is a lot of stuff that I've been going through over the last few years. I just really want to bleed it on this record. I want people to know that I'm not playing around. I'm not doing a record that is cookie cutter or doing something that I think people want to hear," Justin told Ryan Seacrest in a radio show last Thursday.

"I've been pretty silent about what I've been going through and just growing up in this life is hard, so I want to translate that."

The "Baby" singer announced that he will be performing at KIIS FM's "Wango Tango" concert on May 9. Afterwards, he talked about his new album. He also stated that he does not have a direct response to Selena's single "The Heart Wants What It Wants" but admitted that his ex-girlfriend inspired some of his new material.

"A lot of my inspiration comes from her [Selena]. It was a long relationship and a relationship that created heartbreak and created happiness and a lot of different emotions that I wanted to write about, so there's a lot of that on this album," the artist revealed.

Meanwhile, James Franco uploaded a picture of Selena Gomez holding a baby with the caption, "Selena and I had a baby. It was born during Sprang Break." The baby is not actually theirs, though.

"Working with a baby is dream job for Selena... Selena is by no means ready to have a baby now. She is very ambitious and wants to do a lot before she becomes a mother. For now it's fun just to pretend," a source told HollywoodLife.com.
