It looks like the "Tom Clancy's The Division" Xbox One and PS4 release date announcement will face stiff competition.
If new rumors are true, the highly anticipated title will go head-to-head with two other Ubisoft titles- "Assassin's Creed: Victory" and "Ranibow Six: Siege"- and 343's "Halo 5 Guardians" at the E3 2015.
"The latest when it comes to 'Tom Clancy's The Division' is about the upcoming E3, it expected that tons of games will be unveiled or release this coming E3 2015, and Ubisoft confirmed that they are indeed revealing more details about the upcoming 'Tom Clancy's The Division' this June," Crossmap reported.
The article continued to speculate that although Ubisoft has not yet confirmed any release date announcements for the three titles under their wing, it could be highly possible that developers will give gamers substantial info about the current states of the new games.
In addition, "it is not only 'Tom Clancy's The Division' that gamers has been looking forward for, Ubisoft is also looking for 'Halo 5 Guardians' which is rumored to be released this coming E3. Currently 'Halo 5' has its beta version out, and the reviews are astoundingly good," the article read.
For eager fans waiting for new "Tom Clancy's The Division" Xbox One PS4 release date updates, it looks like developers are intentionally making you wait.
According to new reports, Ubisoft might be witholding vital information from leaking to keep fans afloat, and to keep the experience a surprise.
Ubisoft Massive managing director David Polfeldt once said to Gamespot that "The Division is a very ambitious game," and that they are "saving many of the most interesting parts for later."
"He adds that there are a lot of interesting features that have not yet been shown in the past. Suffice to say, Ubisoft has done quite the job in resisting too much spoilers on Tom Clancy's The Division to give players a totally unpredictable experience once they have the game at hand," Venture Capital Post noted.
